Skiathos Island
Skiathos is a small Greek island, atom of the Sporades group in the Aegean Sea. It is close to the large island of Evia and the Pelion mainland. It is unspoilt with the most marvelous beaches, wonderful harbour - side restaurants and many things to see and do. Quite simply it is particular, a piece of paradise you will necessity to return to again and again.
The streets of the town are narrow and winding. There are many tavernas and shops, some in the most unexpected places. Most stay open till unpunctual inasmuch as take your time, there's no compulsion to hurry. Greek persons tend to eat late and It's not unusual to find whole families screen very young children sitting down to eat at 11pm in a pavement taverna.
Skiathos is a relatively pitiful island, apart about 12km long while the total length of the coastline is 44 km. The central road is approximately 14 kilometre's long and connects Skiathos Town with Koukounaries.
